My name is Tom O'Leary and I am a Licensed US Customs Broker. I practiced law in Austin, TX for 33 years.

I attended the University of Texas at Austin (Go Longhorns!), and St. Mary's University of San Antonio, Texas.  I was a practicing Customs Broker many years ago and decided that the knowledge I took from it was worth sharing with people who wanted to get licensed. This quickly turned into teaching an entire exam preparation course and after over 20 years of running CBPrepcourse, I have the same drive to teach as when I began. My experience has granted me the understanding of how to provide students with the most efficient means of study and review possible. I am constantly fine-tuning our materials to address changes in the regulations as well as changes in what CBP chooses to test.

Our client base includes individuals, small companies, and Fortune 500 companies. Large and small companies hire us for private seminars. However, I am sure it is the students that come to us individually that we have helped the most.

I believe in building one-on-one relationships with my students, and it is my policy to be only a phone call away for my students.
